Veel woorden heeft deze blogpost niet nodig. Met deze Boatneck Anegada heb ik een favoriete basic ontdekt. Dus maakte ik er gewoon nog één.

This blogpost does not need a lot of words. With my previous Boatneck Anegada I discovered a new favourite basic. So I just had to make another one.

Finally Frederique

Eindelijk... eindelijk... een inhaalslag. Patronen die ik ooit kocht en nooit gebruikte, ze komen steeds meer uit de kast. En zo kwam ook de Frederique uit de kast. Ik had er dan ook al een jaar stof voor klaar liggen.  Tijd voor actie!

Finally...finally... time to catch up. Patterns that are collecting dust, they finally make it to my cutting table. So finally I picked up the Frederique dress. Even the fabric had been waiting for more than a year... This dress had been on my mind for so long. Time for some action!

Isa maxi dress

Op het schoolplein kijk ik altijd goed om mij heen. Zo leuk om te zien wat de trends van dit moment zijn. Want ook al ga ik met mijn meiden amper kleding shoppen, dat betekent niet dat ze er niet minstens net zo trendy bij kunnen lopen als hun vriendinnen. Dat maak ik gewoon zelf! Zo zag ik vorig jaar her en der maxi jurken voor meiden. En dat leek de oudste krullenbol ook wel wat...

Often I find my inspiration at the schoolyard. I really like to look out for new trends in kids clothes, that I can translate into my sewing. Even though I do not go shopping with my girls, that does not mean they can not be as 'on trend' as their friends. I simply make it myself! Last year maxi dresses began to pop up. My eldest really fancied one of those.

Allebei blij - Both happy

Waar de zeemeerminnen niet direct in de smaak vielen, was het omgekeerde het geval met de cheeta's van Eva Mouton. Die wilden de meiden allebei wel claimen. Dus wat moet je dan als naaiende moeder....

So... those mermaids by Eva Mouton could not please my girls at first. But her cheetah's, wow, they loved them!  Both claimed this fabric immediately....What is a sewing mum to do???
